The next winning entry was submitted by Jeffrey, a ceramic artist in Ohio. He submitted two images of stonewear 3-D tile wall hangings. At first I didn't even recognize what the image was...I thought it was some sort of amorphous landscape...and then, "oh, it's my ass." I have to say one of my favorite things about are are the surprises it can sometimes bring. Great job, Jeffrey!!!

ReplyDeleteThe fleshy colored one has a very "Andy Warhol in ceramic" feel to it. The green-ish one is definitely more abstract, but nicely done. He obviously took time and careful thought. Very original. Good job!
