Hard labor for me doesn't mean what it might for most workers.  It means something completely different for artist Cheng Li, who was recently sentenced to one year of "reeducation through labor" after a performance at the Contemporary Art Exhibition Hall in Beijing landed the 57 year old artist in trouble with China's ostensibly Communist authorities.  While audience members looked on intently, Cheng and a female companion performed live sex acts throughout the museum.  "The popular trend of commercializing art is nothing but a trade of sex for commercial benefits", Cheng explained.

The news strikes another blow to China's art community, which recently saw the arrest and imprisonment of world renowned artist Ai Weiwei this April.
