MUST SEE ART

Colby's big feet in art

Attention New Yorkers!  This is the last weekend to see Ryoji Ikeda's "The Transfinite" at the Armory on Park.  If I could recommend you see any art this year "The Transfinite" would be it.  I had a chance to catch Ikeda's incredible installation last weekend and it blew me away.  It involves algorithms, data-mining, star charts and a gigantic projection screen.  Trust me, even if the description doesn't entice you, you'll appreciate the recommendation.

A time-lapse video of the installation of the installation:

  1. Colby: It has taken me about four days, but I have read your blog from beginning to end. Very enlightening, and entertaining. I think of you as the "thinking man's porn star". I sent you an e-mail, and when you have a chance, hope you will respond.
