Filipino artist Mideo Cruz is in trouble. Cruz's work is part of an exhibit at the Cultural Centre of the Philippines, a government run gallery in Manila, hosting work from the alumn of a local Catholic university. As you might have guessed, Catholics in the Philippines, who make up a majority of the country's population, are a lil' perturbed by Cruz's collage. Enraged Catholic activist Jo Imbong claims the work violates the country's "immoral exhibition" law, which normally targets porn.
I think the bigger problem may be all the clutter. As any porn producer will tell you, it never hurts to edit.
