Karl Marxxx and I begin our cross country road trip today.  We're driving through New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minneapolis, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Washington. . . oh yeah, and Idaho (no, you da ho!).  If you're up for getting spanked, I'll be appearing in Chicago on Saturday at Jackhammer (during Market Days), Sunday at The Saloon in Minneapolis and next Friday (8/17) in Seattle at the Eagle

If you don't live near any of those cities, well. . . road trip!  And be sure to follow the blog this week for all kinds of crazy updates from the great big United States of Colby. . . I mean, America.

For non-US readers and those that never bother to visit the "flyover states" (a term I fucking hate 'cuz America is so goddamned beautiful), a trip like this could be done in a car in about 4 days with intense driving, but we're taking 8 days so we can take our time as we move towards the Pacific Northwest.  Expect lots of photos Colby and Karl in pastoral settings, finding our spirit animals, chomping at local diners, and making fun of that obnoxious Miley Cyrus song.  I'd embed a funny video here, but it seems like her lawyers have nothing better to do that scour the internet to scourge it from any free plays.  Oh well, our loss???

  1. Drive safely, remember to buckle up, takr frequent breaks, etc.

Oh, an I love how you listed all states... And Minneapolis. ;-)

  2. I've always wanted to take a cross country road trip. When dining in Chicago be sure to check out Kuma's Corner ( amazing burgers and heavy metal music. There is always a wait though, so be prepared. Drop me a line if you require any road side assistance. ;)

    1. I sat across from Gaga at Kuma's a few years ago, before anyone, besides me, knew who the fuck she was, er is.

Who knows, maybe you'll run into Beyonce eating two cheese burgers with onion rings, a chocolate shake, side of fries, & chickens strips with apple pies... it could happen!

  3. It's a gorgeous ride. One I've done many times. Love the the large inland sea of land that is the Dakotas. If you are into big open spaces and wide-eyed're going to love it! See you in Seattle!

  4. When are you coming to Vegas.

  5. Honey you left the watermark on your pic.
