COLBY: CORN COB KING

If Colby could be king, this would be his palace! We found this illustrious palace made entirely of corn on our way to Wounded Knee in Mitchell, South Dakota. Every year year the residents of Mitchell change the building's facade with patterns made entirely from corn. This year's theme: youth activities.

    1. One time, when I lived in Japan as an air force brat, we day-tripped to Mount Fuji, and my friend's dad put up a sign that read "5750 miles to Wall Drug"!

  4. What a waste the trip is to Wounded Knee! Nothing of interest there, unfortunately. Sad past.
