Today marks the 96th anniversary of the October Revolution . . . but only technically.  While historians traditionally date the Petrograd Uprising (which put into motion the series of events that lead to the Russian Revolution) on October 25th, 1917, this original notation actually employs the Julian Calendar and not the Gregorian Calendar we use today.  October 25th in the Julian Calendar actually corresponds to November 7th in the Gregorian Calendar.

Does that mean I get two separate birthdays!?  One Julian birthday and one Gregorian birthday???  ;-)
