Photographer Philip Lorca DiCorcia earned notoriety in the early 90s when he paid male prostitutes in Los Angeles to pose for his camera, explicitly using money from a National Endowment for the Arts grant to do so. You're probably familiar with at least some of the images. If you haven't seen them "in the flesh", now is your chance. The full set from DiCorcia's original 1993 solo show at MoMA, as well as 12 never before shown photographs, are on view at David Zwirner in NYC until November 2nd.
